Care for Lake St. Clair!  You know...the lake that gives us endless summer days and unforgettable memories?!  Supporting the City of St. Clair Shores' annual clean-ups promotes water-preservation awareness advocated by the St. Clair Waterfront Environmental Committee.  We only ask for a few hours of your time cleaning the lake that we spend hundreds of hours enjoying.

The NautiCrew has participated in this annual event since 2018, and our partnership flourishes with every occasion.  Can we count on you again?  Fitting with the Crew's mission, your commitment to our lake and the community vitally meets our outreach efforts.  Please join us in May to help clean our shorelines, advocate for our natural resources, and kick-off the summer!

We will bring the NautiBus for Crew transportation to and from the Clean-up Headquarters and coastline—we plan on hopping aboard and cleaning together as a team.  Your registration here helps with coordination and record-keeping.  Additionally, registering with the St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee (SCSWEC) on Eventbrite (link below) allows Mike (event director) and his staff better prepare.  Food and drinks provided.  A designated crewmember will further coordinate your attendance.

Please register with the event in addition to your NautiCrew registration here.  Register: St. Clair Shores Nautical Coast Clean-up Registration

29TH ANNUAL NAUTICAL COAST CLEAN-UP (EVENT DESCRIPTION)

Our annual coast clean-up represents the City of St. Clair Shores highest-attended environmentally driven effort.  Since 1996, we have received passionate volunteers (SCS resident or not) and local businesses to join our efforts in another annual edition to a decades-long tradition of addressing the health of Lake St. Clair along our beaches and shoreline.

Raising public awareness toward a clean lake remains at the forefront of our civil responsibilities in waterfront stewardship.  Beyond the day's clean-up activities, attendees will learn of our efforts to improve water quality and ways to support a cleaner, safer lake.  Join us for the morning and give back to the lake that gives us so much all year.

    Targeted Areas:

    • Veterans Memorial Park & Beach
    • Blossom Heath Park & Beach
    • Chapaton Retention Basin shoreline at the foot of Nine Mile Road
    • Champine Park at the foot of Twelve Mile Road
    • Homeowner Association beaches, shorelines, and canal areas

Learn about our Committee's impactful environmental activities through informative presentations, including sign-ups for more participation opportunities.  Did you know that we conduct other clean-ups?  Our awareness initiative aims to inspire action and cultivate a stronger sense of environmental awareness and responsibility within our community.
